Cheers to the Powells!

This wedding was so special to me. I actually only photographed the morning of because I was in this wedding. I got to be the maid of honor to one of my best friends, Sydney.

Sydney and Darion met 7 years ago and are total couple goals! With 2 amazing boys, I’ve watched the couple grow, have babies, buy a home, sell a home and now get married. It was such an honor to be able to take photos and document the morning with Sydney & all her closet girls. There were lots of tears, champagne and joy.

This couple brought so many people together on this special day, the groom had friends from all across the county show up, the bride's family flew up all week from Arizona, it was a dream event all week to say the least.

I have an acute ability to sense everything happening around me and that came into play when from across the room of 150+ people I spotted smoke coming from the grooms jacket, the candle from the window had started burning a hole in it. However, it made for a good moment for everyone at the reception and like always this cool, calm and collected couple handled it with ease and a good laugh.
