Are We in Our Disco Ball Era?

Disco balls have transcended their origins in the disco era and have become an enduring symbol of glitz and celebration. These shimmering orbs have experienced a remarkable rise in popularity, captivating not only the dance floor but also mainstream culture.

These disco balls are all over right now and photographers have been implementing them any chance they get, myself included! Its so much fun to get to be creative and add things to your sessions that you don’t always get to do.

I got together with our model, Ilsa. who also happens to be my cousin! You can always count on calling on family when you need someone to help you get inspired for a shoot you don’t get to do everyday. Personally, I think she killed it! I’m obsessed with the power suit AND hot pink moment. This was so much fun and I can’t wait to do more sessions with disco balls. We had the best time figuring out how to use them and at the end the sun came through one of the windows and we got some fun reflections to work with! I’m officially sold on the disco ball era, who is up next?!
